Hornet spell is one of the ancient Thai magic popularised by the Legend of Khunpaen where Khunpaen turned tamarind leaves into hornets in Wat Khae which enshrined the image of Luang Pu Kong sitting on a giant hornet. It specifically held an auspicious ceremony on Thursday, August 15, 2556 which coinciding with the 9th day of the ninth lunar month to consecrate a batch of hornet amulets made from a mixture of specially selected powder. Only 999 sets were made and consecrated. They are meant to by hung around the neck or be placed on the altar table.

Purpose: Protection against villains and attracting wealth and fortune.
