King Taksin the Great (Loon Laek) Sitting

According to history, Wat Nong Nok Khai was where King Taksin the Great rested his army before hitting Chanthaburi in his quest to reclaim Ayutthaya. Luang Phor Karp made and consecrated the first batch of Somdej Phra Chao Taksin amulets for four years before releasing them to the public in Buddhist year 2538 with a grand Puttapisek ceremony. There were two models made, namely, Somdej Phra Chao Taksin in a sitting posture and Somdej Phra Chao Taksin on the horse back.
