Luang Phor Weerawong is the 8th abbot of Wat Takong, a historical temple built around Buddhist year 2225, i.e. approximately 340 years ago. Each succeeding abbots since Luang Phor Chaem has adhered to the ancient methods passed down by His Venerable in making and consecrating sacred objects.

Wat Takong is considered to be the true birthplace of Kumanthong consecration because LP Chaem of Wat Takong was the teacher of Luang Por Tae Kongthong, one of the most prominent guru monk known for making and consecrating Kumanthong images and amulets. In Buddhist 2532, various guru monks including prominent monks including Luang Phor Pern, Luang Phor, Yaem, Luang Phor Poon, Luang Phor Yik, and Luang Phor Uttama came together and jointly consecrated a batch of Kumanthongs and, among them, was Kumanthong Dud Raek Lang Yant.

This batch of Phra Pidta amulets were made and consecrated by the 7th abbot Phrakru Udomcharuwat of Wat Takong in Buddhist year 2539. It is the first generation of millionaire batch also known as "Phokthrasap" or "wealth remains."

In Buddhist year 2545, the 8th abbot of Wat Takong Luang Phor Lek made a batch of Kuman Kwak Ngen Kwak Tong images from specially selected earth and consecrated them in accordance with the ancient spell of Luang Phor Chaem. Special powder was also inserted underneath each and every image to conjure magic and energies for ultimate effectiveness making this batch of Kumanthongs special and rare.
