Phra Yod Khun Phon originated during the Lopburi period and was first discovered around the Buddhist year 2489-33 at Wat Kai, a temple built in the early Ayutthaya period. The uniques features of Phra Yod Khun Phon include the regalia adorned by Lord Budda sitting inside the facade of Ruean Kaew above the base of the double lotus as a symbol of authority and power. This is the first batch of Phra Yod Khun Phon made and consecrated by Luang Pu Chuen which has undergone extended period of chanting before the Puttapisek ceremony.
